Family Christian Bookstore Used Books Purchasing Policy
1. We will accept no more than 3 boxes/bags of books per customer at any one
time, but no fewer than 10 books.
2. We will endeavor to evaluate your books within a three week time period,
depending on the busyness of the season.
3. We have the discretion to accept or reject books for purchase without needing to
explain our decision in this regard.
4. After we have evaluated the books, we will contact you with our offer for either a
gift card or cash only for those books we would like to purchase.
5. You will be given the option of rejecting our offer and requesting the return of all
your books. Once you have contacted us stating that you would like your books
returned, you have 30 days to pick them up or we will dispose of them at our
discretion.
6. You have 30 days to accept our offer for the purchase of the books we are
interested in buying. During this time period, you should return to the store, pick
up either the gift card or cash for the books we are willing to purchase. At that
time you are requested to take back the books we are not interested in
purchasing, or leave them for us to dispose of as we see fit.
7. If 30 days have elapsed from the time we have contacted you with our offer of
purchase and you have not contacted us stating that you want the books
returned, we will assume that you have accepted our offer for either the gift
card/cash.
At that time the books that we are not interested in buying will be disposed of at
our discretion and the books we have decided to purchase will be put out for sale
on our shelves.
The gift card/cash offer that we have made will remain in effect until such time as
you come into the store to pick it up.
